Paleis van de Weemoed

In the heart of the old town is the nostalgic café & restaurant theater ‘Paleis van de Weemoed’ (Nostalgia) with a beautiful authentic Art Deco interior. Once you make your entrance, you find yourself in a nightclub in Berlin or a Parisian cafe in the thirties.

Programme 

Every Friday and Saturday night dinner show Variété Rouge: spicy, slightly naughty, but always tasteful entertainment. Enjoy a spectacular evening of entertainment with a delicious three-course dinner for € 42, 50 p / person excluding drinks (starting at 7:30pm).
Are you a Musical fan? Enjoy from August 1 on the high level of Mondays Musical Mania - an exclusive dinner show at the Palace. Danny Nooy and Robbert Besselaar will perform every Monday night the finest, funniest and most fun musical tunes at the Palace. Includes 3-course dinner € 47.50 (starting at 7:30pm).
On Sunday afternoons you can enjoy singing along with Amsterdam 'levensliederen’ (songs about life) and every 1st and 2nd Wednesday of the month you can come and enjoy live jazz and blues performances.
For the gay-minded below us, Palma (known for The Golden Cage) will transform the Palace from August 2011 every second and third Thursday into a unique gay bar in Amsterdam, with its cozy atmosphere and entertainment as you may expect. A surprisingly nice ambience for a night out. 

The Palace is open for lunch from 12.00pm, or drop by for a drink! When the weather allows you can also relax on our terrace along the canal.
