The Roode Leeuw is a unique meeting place in the heart of the historical centre. The restaurant has been founded in 1911 and has still the same owner. With the wooden wainscoting, Art Deco elements and wooden carvings, the Roode Leeuw can be seen as an Amsterdam institution, specialised in Dutch cuisine.
