High tea- a table filled with delicious treats!

The High Tea is booming in the Netherlands.From origin its English.Legend has it that in the year 1840 Anna, the 7th duches of Bedfort, got hungry around 4pm and cound’t wait until supper. A light meal was served with tea. The idea was such a success that soon it became an english habbit to drink tea around 4pm…according to the english their civilization started when they decided to drink tea.

You don’t need tob e a queen and nowadays we call ourselves civilizised for many other reasons but still, a high tea in Amsterdam is quite tempting and delicious!
